In addition to being able to purchase and sell NFTs on eBay, users may soon be able to conduct transactions on the platform using cryptocurrencies as payment.
Unfortunately, eBay does not now accept cryptocurrency payments, although this is expected to change soon.
According to a statement from The Street, eBay CEO Jamie Lannone stated that the e-commerce site might make a major announcement on March 10th, which could involve the prospect of taking cryptocurrency payments (Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum) He stated,
We’re not accepting crypto currently. But on March 10, we’re going to go deeper on all of these things, payments, advertising, our focus categories.
