A month after announcing her NFT platform, Melania Trump launched “The Head of State” collection NFT auction.
Your options included an actual painting of her wearing the hat and an animated NFT of the artwork.
The auction finished Wednesday night with the NFT sold for around $170,000, which was $80,000 less than she had asked for, according to CNN.
It also received just five offers, which Trump would call “sad.”
Oops! NFT is not for everyone, I guess.
