Next month, on Kurt Cobain’s 55th birthday, a fresh batch of Nirvana NFTs will be released.
Non-fungible tokens generated from previously viewed images shot during a 1991 show will be published on February 20.
The NFT series will include 28 images taken by Faith West and marketed through Pop Legendz. On October 6, 19991, Nirvana played at J.C. Dobbs in Philadelphia, six days following the publication of ‘Nevermind.’
The digital pieces range from $99 (£73) to $250,000 (£185k). Fans may buy the still photographs in black-and-white or acid-washed colour for $99, or three of the images as artwork for $499 (£368). The NFTs will be limited to 100 copies at these prices.
