NFT News

The ‘Pixar Pals’ NFT series has been launched by Pixar Animation Studios.

On Sunday, Pixar Animation Studios unveiled the Pixar Pals NFT collection, which includes characters from Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Cars, Coco, Ratatouille, and other Pixar films.

This collection has been produced by Pixar, a Walt Disney Company subsidiary, to honour some of the most iconic characters and scenes from their famous cinema.

Some of the characters featured in the NFT collection include Woody from Toy Story, Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc., Lightning McQueen from Cars, The House from Up, Edna Mode from The Incredibles, and more.

There are three sections to the collection. There are three levels of rarity: common, rare, and ultra rare.

On the NFT marketplace, VeVe, the NFT series is offered. The Pixar Pals NFT collectibles come in blind boxes, which means the buyer has no idea what kind of artwork or rarity they’re getting when they buy it. The NFTs have a starting price of $60 apiece.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are cryptographically unique tokens that are created on a blockchain. They can be simply defined as a mechanism for proving ownership of a digital or physical object.

Taking advantage of the Web3 wave, many film companies are developing their own NFT series, monetizing each opportunity as it arises. The DC Comics NFT series, starring Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman, was just released by Warner Bros.
