WMG has announced a strategic relationship with The Sandbox, marking its “first step into the NFT metaverse realm”.

OneOf, a “Green Web3 Company developed for music” announced today (January 31) that it has struck a “first-of-its-kind preferential partnership” with WMG to build unique NFTs for WMG artists.

OneOf was created by Lin Dai, Joshua James, and Adam Fell, alongside Quincy Jones and Quincy Jones Productions.

In May 2021, the firm raised $63 million from major tech and music industry figures.

OneOf NFT platform auctioned off an unreleased Whitney Houston recording produced when she was 17 years old for $999,999 in December.

In fact, OneOf says their “Green NFT platform” produces NFTs up to “2m times more energy efficient”.

The firm recently signed three-year relationships with the Grammy Awards, iHeartRadio, and MusiCares.

Alesso, The Game, Chief Keef, Pia Mia, Doja Cat, Whitney Houston, and others have all released “record breaking NFT collections” since OneOf began in September.
